| The Camden County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center is the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for 911 calls placed in Camden County. Dispatching is provided for the Camden County Fire and Sheriff's departments and other public safety agencies within Camden County. The dispatch center staff consists of 19 dispatchers.
The dispatch center is responsible for receiving and disseminating all calls for service, both emergency and non-emergency. Our dispatchers are employees of the Sheriff's Office and provide dispatching services for public safety agencies in Camden County.
The Camden County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center not only processes emergency 911 calls, but also completes numerous activities in support of personnel, such as dispatching and monitoring primary and backup units, investigators, contacting and relaying pertinent information to the field, and to other agencies and businesses. The dispatch center is also responsible for coordinating the communications for multi-agency events and incidents that occur in Camden County.
