Warrants

Under the mandates of the Georgia Constitution, the Sheriff’s Office of all 159 counties must provide court security and serve civil papers and warrants. Locally, these tasks fall to the two deputies working for Captain Faye Chancey. The deputies in this division serve approximately 125 civil papers and warrants in Camden County each week. They also are tasked with providing security in the juvenile, probate, magistrate and superior courts.

Captain Chancey has working for the CCSO for 16 years and has held a number of positions including records clerk. Warrants division handles 95% of all transports of inmates for Camden County.
