The Camden County Jail is run by the jail administrator. The jail administrator is responsible for 45-50 employees and as many as 150 inmates on a daily basis. The main jail in Woodbine, GA opened in 1986 and houses 123 inmates. The Sub Station opened in 1999 and can house 30 inmates. The inmates at both facilities cook their own meals and keep the grounds and facilities clean. Trustees from the jail also perform many community service projects.
